Set in the picturesque town of Kinsale, Haven Bay Care Village is dedicated to delivering the highest standards of care. Haven Bay is committed to enhancing the quality of life for all our residents, whether staying with us long-term, or for a short period of respite or post hospital convalescence, or indeed to live independently in our homely apartments. The multi award winning facility is uniquely designed and beautifully situated and offers excellence care to our residents. Haven Bay Care Village is located only 20km South of Cork City (20 minutes drive from Cork Airport) and comprises Haven Bay Care Centre , a 127 bedded care facility, our independent and supported living Apartments, a Doctor’s surgery and a Podiatry Clinic. Our aim is to provide care and support in a secure and professional environment for those in need. Our friendly and experienced staff will tailor individual and holistic care packages designed to recognise the dignity and uniqueness of each person. This January, our dementia champion Linda is creating a Paper Quilt with our residents, with each person designing a square that reflects who they are, their hobbies and life stories 💛

From tractors and knitting to lighthouses, dogs and teacups, every square is unique. Everyone is welcome to join in, with support always available.

It has started as a joyful, creative project full of conversation, colour and connection — and we can’t wait to see the finished quilt ✨
