Self-worth is such a big topic and affects so many areas of our lives. What stirred in you when you read the words self-worth? Take a pause and feel into that? ✨✨✨ Yeah it can be crunchy!! These however are often limits, beliefs, ideas we put on ourselves. When we see them, we can shift them. Creating a whole new level of self-worth 🌱🌱🌱 At the we spent a few weeks investigating self-worth and it really was magical. One week to go to this 4 week course ✨ I am really looking forward to it. Going back to basics. Making things simple and easy. Discovering what yoga offers you ✨🌱✨ There are so many layers to yoga, not to mention different styles and teachers, part of the journey is finding one that suits you and like we do, this too can change. In these four weeks my aim is to offer you the basic teachings of some simple yoga asanas, bring awareness to our own bodies and how it feels for you, learning to use a support / prop if needed while also offering you the initials steps so from here you may go and explore more ✨✨✨ Join me Tuesday morning 10-11 am for the 4 weeks in June. You don’t need to prove your worth … I don’t know who needs to hear this right now. it is true!! Can you feel it in your body? It can spark ⚡️ some patterns of movement and change. We had such a wonderful three weeks Investigating Self-Worth. Thank you from really deep in my heart to all the women who came to be vulnerable and explore this with me, who trusted me to hold the space for them. It meant a lot 🙏🙏🙏 It’s such a big topic and moves into so many areas, beliefs, ways of being. We had fun, we chatted, we moved, we explored and brought huge awareness to ourselves and this concept of ‘Worth’✨✨✨ The magic of being human on this journey was really highlighted to me. The support that simply being together and exploring these places can help us to love and accept ourselves more. 🌱🌱🌱 I am feeling to explore this more, maybe a longer journey… do let me know if you are interested. Can you feel the energy shifting? Spring is finally springing 🌱🌱🌱 unsure if that is a word. It’s rainy today in the West however the feeling of spring is here. I can feel it too in my body … the desire to move more ✨✨✨✨ These are two beautiful classes that I teach in and around the Kinvara area. Classes are small 6 / 8 people max, so you get lots of attention and to connect with community. Classes do vary each week so it’s never boring. Spring is here 🌱 Can you feel the shift? It is possibly a few degrees warmer and there are daffodils 🌼 everywhere, so beautiful. How is this shift treating you? 🌱✨🌱✨ We shall soon be at the Spring Equinox where we have equal day and night, a time of balance. This is a great time to reflect on the balance in your life. Is there too much doing and not enough being? Are there too many negative thoughts and not enough positive? Lá fheile Brigid daoibh 🌱 agus Beannachtaí Imbolg 🌱 Here we are slowing and gently emerging from the winter months. Spring not really here yet however the hope is! I saw some daffodils 🌼 flowering today. Such beauty ✨ On this day when we honour the goddess Brigid and all she symbolises for us as women, as all beings. The shift and the transition, the remembrance of hope, of kindness, of our hearts full once again. An croí ata lán le Imbas agus Dan 💜✨The heart is full with inspiration and the souls calling 🌱 Taking some time to listen to this …. These tiny whispers within. Pause for a moment with a candle, by a fire or a well and feel into your belly, your truth of what you wish to grow! Anything is possible 🐍✨🌱 From my heart to yours I wish you blessings and love ❤️ I sit now in gratitude and grá for the ever seeping connection to the land to my heart and womb and to all those who too nourish this ancient wisdom that lies in us all. I was talking with my aunt at the weekend about movement. How our bodies age and our movement style changes, how we can stuck in patterns on ‘not doing anything’ We discussed some simple ways of doing 5 minute exercise snacks through your day or actually joining a class so you can be encouraged by others and also have that accountability piece on turning up! So do you move? How do you move? What makes you feel good in your body? ✨✨✨ I am teaching my Monday evening online yoga class starting 27th January, 6-7pm These classes have a range of aged students and abilities I work at a pace that suits all. My aim is simply for you to tune into your body, get to know it more and to feel great in your body because you have moved 🙌🏽 If you are interested or would even like to chat about it simply get it touch. What does your yoga practice look like? This is asked without judgement, it comes from an open heart and curiosity ✨💜 Mine practice has changed a lot over many years!! Over 10 years ago when I lived in Dublin and was in the depths of Iyengar teaching and training I used practice two hours a day or more. I must admit I loved it however on reflection now I can see the Yang energy of pushing in my then practice. My body eventually said to me no more, I think it was a pain in my hip! So I changed my practice somewhat however there was an ego part of me that was…. Well if I am not going to do a full practice then nothing!! My body also did not like this. The stiffness crept in, my body felt tight. I began to practice a Sva Ta**ra restorative practice that wow … definitely shifted things. I knew my body wanted more yin! Shortly after this I also started Qi gong. This too was a much slower and softer practice. Finally my ego has let go and now as I get on my mat to practice some yoga, to move my body, it’s with curiosity and an open heart for what wants to come through. We as human beings are constantly evolving and changing so our practice must too. I have learnt and am constantly trying for it not to be a ‘head’ thing. How can I move more from the heart 💜 how can I move from my body’s intuition ✨ A constant evolution and growth! I teach an online yoga class on a Monday evening 6pm Irish Time.
