Thank you to everyone who attended our first meeting and enjoyed it so much we have made it a meeting monthly.
Please don't think you will be out of your depth if you don't speak Irish at all, everyone is very helpful and will explain and translate, plus you will not be alone.

Ladysbridge Book Club had a fantastic meeting tonight, we discussed The Nowhere Girls by Carmel Harrington, a bit of a disappointing book as it is not Carmel Harrington's usual style, but that said it's a book that will keep you wanting to read more, a little far fetched in places but would make an great hoilday read, we definitely prefer The Lighthouse Secret by Carmel Harrington.
Our next read is The Emperor Of Gladness by Ocean Vuong, we all agreed that this looks like a great read, not an author we have read before.
Fun book swap had us all going home with more books to read 😃
Next meeting is Monday April 13th, 7.00pm The Thatch Ladysbridge.
All Welcome.
