Hi, my name is Lisa O Reilly BA (Hons) Counselling and Psychotherapy. Clare, Where I provide a safe place for clients to explore a wide range of issues. I have over 10 years clinical experience and have an honours degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Dublin Business School which is accredited by the IACP (Irish association Counsellors and Psychotherapists and IAHIP (Irish association Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy).

📚 Really enjoyed this training. So much learning... new concepts and practical advice towards providing the best foundation for a successful therapeutic relationship when working with adult autistic clients,
Different way of working requiring practioner to adapt and amend current methods.

FYI -
The course was compiled by a neurodiverse team of Neuro-Affirmative advisers and qualified/accredited counsellors, psychotherapists and psychologists who have many years of experience working with Neurodivergent clients including those who also have lived experience of being Autistic.👏👏

This years theme is prioritising mental health in the work place 👏

There are many improvements to be made in rhis area. A good start is flexibility around employees taking time off for counselling appointments or any essential appointment. Not always possible depending on the industry. However I have worked with clients where this is an issue when it shouldn't be. With a little bit of thought and understanding there's usually a work around. So absolutely plenty of room for improvement.
