🧠New Research Alert
A large UK study (467,000+ people) found that metabolic syndrome (MetS)—high blood pressure, high blood sugar, abnormal cholesterol, and large waist size—raises the risk of developing Parkinson’s disease. The more MetS factors, the higher the risk, especially in those with genetic predisposition. A review of nearly 25 million people confirmed these results.
💡 Since MetS is closely tied to microcirculation problems, improving microcirculation may help reduce metabolic issues and possibly lower Parkinson’s risk.
