View from my Balcony where I am on HOLIDAYS!!!

Clinic closed for a week, I think I remembered to tell all my regulars, but if you can't book an appointment online for next week.... this is why.

I don't do holidays often, but I'm blessed to be staying on a gorgeous Villa in Croatia at the minute.

Wishing you all a very, very Merry Christmas and just wanted to say, from the bottom of my heart, thanks to all my clients for your support and your trust in me this year ❤️

As I sit here on Christmas eve with a glass of wine and my feet up and two dogs draped across me, I'm thinking of you all with a heart full of gratitude and love. Clients I've seen recently, clients i haven't seen in a while- you should know that I never, ever stop thinking of you and caring how you are. I know what Christmas means to you. For some, it's a time of joy, and for lots it's a time of some difficulty. Regardless of what it means for you, I wish you all as much peace and as stress free of a holiday as possible.

This day last week we were having a BBQ outside with the mutts and soaking up the last of the wonderful weather in Roscommon!

How things change in this country... the cold weather has well and truly hit and things will be very different from this week on- get those stews and soups on, wrap up warm and get the ginger tea going if you haven't already 🍲🫖☕️

Arthritic conditions are flaring up and people are feeling the cold internally this week, chests, coughs, sinuses. My clinic has the near constant aroma of Moxa coming from it again ☯️

Take this as your reminder to soup soup soup from here on out 🍜 I'll be making a miso mushroom broth for some ramen dinners and a minestrone soup this weekend. Warming and nourishing from the inside is the name of the game 💪 🔥

I'm going on holidays! Imagine that!
My first one since 2015!
My first one longer than 4 nights since I went to China in 2010!
And my first sun holiday since I was 15!

I intend to read books and enjoy family time with my niblings. I'll be here next week then I'll be turning on all the out of office replies. No doubt I will still be checking my emails on occasion, despite my best intentions, but the online booking will be live shortly for appointments from 29th August onwards.

I love my booking system. To date, access has only been enabled after a first session, but I've decided to trial enabling it for new clients for the first time! I will be keeping a few appointments aside for current clients, so if you've been with me before and don't see a spot that suits, you can still contact me and hopefully I'll be able to fit you in.

The clinic is closed until January 4th for a much needed rest, but I just wanted to say a huge thank you to my clients for your generosity and well wishes this week, it has been overwhelming!!

I AM IN LOVE 🥰

One of the long standing issues I've had in here over the years is how to needle some of the acupuncture points on the inside of a clients arm and have them rest their arm in a comfortable manner (and not knock needles out...).

I was DELIGHTED to discover that the solution had finally been created- I've never made an impulse purchase as quickly as this one!! I'm only on Day 2 of using the and already I can see that these are a game changer. No more clumsy rolled up towels or awkwardly positioned stools! Feedback has been fantastic from everyone I've used them with so far.

If you're an acupuncturist, you need these. If you're one of my clients, I've probably mentioned this exact problem to you many-a-time and am looking forward to introducing you all to my newest love!!

7 years in business this week means a LIFE UPDATE! As is the fashion at the moment. The TLDR for those who don't want to read is that (if you didn't know already) I moved very far away. But don't worry- I have no intentions of uprooting my Leixlip clinic any time soon. It really just means I've carved out solid days off for myself and so I can't do out of hours treatments the way I used to.
Thanks for reading, it's be an incredible *almost* year and now that the pup is a little less demanding I look forward to sharing more with you all!
