We are absolutely delighted with the response we recieved from our spectacle appeal this year. We are often asked if we recycle glasses or if we collect old spectacles and this year we partnered with the Lions Club International and collected hundreds of pairs that will be distributed to those in need.

Millions of people in developing nations are pushed deeper into poverty simply because they don’t have glasses. They can’t learn, because reading is difficult. They can’t work to the best of their ability, because they can’t see clearly.

For children, clear vision means a better education, healthier development and a better quality of life. For adults, it means greater employment opportunity and economic strength. For seniors it means less dependence on others.

So we are so incedibly grateful for everyone who dontaed and helped us help others with the gift of vision.

A great time was had at the Letterkenny Chamber Business Awards 2025 on Friday night. We may not have come home with the top prize, but we are incredibly grateful that we were shortlisted with such an amazing selection of businesses.

Congratulations to for winning best Customer Service 2025, you really deserved it, and of course big congratulations to our neighbours and for winning Outstanding Small Business and Best Marketing respectively!

It was a great evening, celebrating local business in Donegal!
