In my heart of hearts I didn't want to take to facebook with this, but i am unsure how else to rectify the situation. Ive heard through the grapevine that I am supposedly not taking on any hospital staff. I find it really disheartening to hear & it couldn't be further from the truth, as our current hospital staff members can vouch for. It is really challenging times for business and damaging rumours like these do not help matters. I have supported all my members including our super hospital staff through every lockdown to the best of my ability, and put procedures in place to best safely accommodate everyone since reopening. I want to be clear that we welcome absolutely everyone at Aoife McGill Personal Training.❤

Boxercise is back with strict terms and conditions.
- Two people from the same bubble must attend each class. There will be no swapping partners.
- Each duo will be supplied with his/her own gloves and pads for the month. No swapping of equipment.
- Safe social distancing guidelines will be followed at all times.
-All pads and gloves are brand new.

For some Christmas is a magical time of the year.
For others it's a dread. "I'm going to put on weight and I'm going to struggle to lose it.

Scenario: I gained 10 pounds over Xmas.

January I'm going to hit the gym hard.

The end of January and I've only lost 2.5 pounds. That's not good enough I get upset and go on a binge eating session and give up.

Happens all too often.

If you keep that trend going you'll have lost the weight in 4 months.

It doesent matter how long it takes just keep at it rather than giving up.

Depending on who you ask your going to get a different opinion on what to eat where to eat an what time to eat.

Ever hear don't eat late at night it will make you fat.

That's because a sandwich at 7:59pm will be 300 calories but if you eat the same sandwich at 8:01pm it changes to 600 calories.

So that's why you shouldn't eat late at night.

Find what works for you. If you can't sustain it, it's not going to work.

If your in a calorie deficit your going to lose weight. It won't matter what time you eat.

Let me give you a scenario.

I've lost 10Ibs in 5 weeks through a strict strict diet. I've hated it I can't eat anything I like and I'm eating food that I don't like.
But I'm down 10Ibs so I'm happy.

Fast forward 5weeks and the 10Ibs is back on and maybe even more.

I've seen this scenario numerous time when it comes to strict diets or quick fixes.

10Ibs in 5 weeks is a phenomenal weight loss but if it can be sustained it's not going to work.

Be patient with your journey. Don't be in a rush to get there.
