I've had health issues this week and I've made the decision to take some time off and have the first annual leave break of this year.

I'd like to thank you all for your continued support and I'm very grateful for such wonderful clients who keep me in a role I love. I hope to return to The Butterfly Room on Friday December 12th. x

Still working on these Halloween 🦇 Nail designs. Just a few examples of water decals and stickers available. I also can do free style design & nail stamping and have ghosts 👻 and ghouls on stamping plates too. These designs are on different nail extension sizes to give different desired designs and are painted in regular nail varnish and so will be sealed with a clear top coat nail varnish. For longer wear colour can be done with Gel/Shellac base colours and hard wearing topcoat. So if your booked for nails this weekend and fancy a design just let me know at the beginning of your appointment. If any availability comes about for appointments I will announce it here and Facebook.

🌊 She was drowning.
And the world was still cheering.
No one noticed the silence beneath the applause.
No one… except one person. 💔
It was June 2022, at the World Championships in Budapest.
American artistic swimmer Anita Álvarez had just finished a breathtaking routine — grace and control woven into water and light.
But when the music stopped… she didn’t rise.
Her body floated for a moment — still, suspended.
Then it began to sink.
Quietly. Slowly. Out of sight.
The crowd kept clapping. Cameras kept rolling.
No one saw her fading — except Andrea Fuentes, her coach.
Andrea didn’t need to think. She felt it.
She knew Anita’s rhythm, her limits, her breath.
And without a word, she leapt into the water — clothes and all —
diving deep, wrapping her arms around her unconscious swimmer,
lifting her back to the surface.
Back to air. Back to life. 🫶
Since then, I keep thinking —
