We were delighted to welcome the amazing team from Limerick Su***de Watch (LSW) to our offices in Annacotty yesterday.



Since May 2016, LSW has grown into a fully voluntary organisation with over 55 members who dedicate their free time to supporting our local community when they need it most.



Serosep has always been so proud to support Limerick Su***de Watch over the years, including funding the conversion and ongoing upkeep of their van. During their visit, the team explained just how important this space is, offering people at a very low point somewhere safe and private to sit, talk, and receive support. During their visit, the team also demonstrated the equipment they use on the river while waiting for emergency services and explained how donations help support their vital work. They also shared details of their free app, which outlines the local mental health services available in times of need. (Available to download via the LSW website, www.limericksuicidewatch.ie)



At Serosep, we take mental health very seriously and are proud to offer our employees access to free counselling sessions whenever they feel they need an extra bit of support.

Serosep were very proud to welcome Jennifer Carroll MacNeill TD and Enterprise Ireland to our South African subsidiary, Pro med Diagnostics, during their recent visit for the G20 summit.

The visit highlighted the implementation of our EntericBio molecular diagnostic system at Ampath Laboratories, one of South Africa’s leading pathology networks. EntericBio, designed and manufactured here in Limerick, enables rapid and reliable detection of enteric pathogens, streamlining workflows and supporting improved patient outcomes through cutting-edge PCR technology. ✨ Yesterday morning, we proudly kicked off the Limerick Quimper Tree Festival with the planting of a beautiful Silver Birch Tree in our Wellness Garden at Serosep HQ in Annacotty. 🌲🌞

Our very own Dermot Scanlon put his green fingers to good use, taking on the honour of planting the tree and was joined by event organiser Laurence Garric of Garric Collaborative Solutions. This tree planting marks the start of a whole month of cultural and community events happening across Limerick this October. As the main sponsors, we are excited to support this festival and are delighted to be helping bring people together while keeping sustainability and community spirit at the heart of it all.

Over the course of a powerful week of fundraising and awareness, the Serosep team came together to support Breast Cancer Ireland, raising an incredible €1,620 in the process.

Our fundraising efforts featured a series of events including:

🏓 A lively 𝐏𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐫 in partnership with Padel LK 🎾
🎁 A 𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞 with a range of exciting spot prizes
🎤 A moving 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤 by Juliette O Connell, Helen Campion & Catherine Whyte..... Three very inspirational breast cancer survivors who courageously shared their journeys.

Juliette, Helen and Catherines heartfelt and empowering stories left a lasting impact on us all, reminding us of the importance of education, early detection, and advocating for yourself.

🌞 𝐔𝐊 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

Yesterday, our UK colleagues came together for their annual summer gathering. The day began with a productive morning meeting in the beautiful city of London where the team got a valuable opportunity to spend time together in person and catch up on recent developments. This was followed by an afternoon of team-building activities with plenty of good food and fun along the way!

As our team is spread geographically around the UK and Ireland, these gatherings are especially important for bringing colleagues together and strengthening relationships beyond the day-to-day work.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the day such a success. 🌞
