The International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology (IACCP) 2023 Conference will feature insightful symposia, panel discussions, and workshops on diverse topics related to cross-cultural psychology. The theme of the conference is “Global Minds and Hearts: Pathways Towards a Sustainable Future.”

The conference will take place from the 31st of July to the 5th of August, 2023, at the University of Limerick (UL), Ireland.

Members of this group include lecturers, researchers, and students of psychology who are passionate about psychological research associated with tackling prejudice and ensuring the inclusion of individuals affected by migration.

We had an appreciation dinner and it was a perfect occasion to look back and energize ourselves for a new beginning with new resolutions.

Last Migration Lab of the Year 2022! 😀

Our very own member of Migration Lab and alumni of Global MINDS, Ms Diana Marcela Lizarazo Pereira visited the University of Limerick and we had a hybrid Lab session. We have got to learn about her recent achievements for the project ‘Inter-connected: Fostering Positive Intergroup Contact and Youth Leadership through Intercultural Competence’. Thanks to Didi for sharing her insight.

What an amazing achievement! It was the best way to wrap up the Migration and Diversity Lab meeting this year.

Hope to meet you all again in 2023. Wishing you all a very exciting and blissful end of 2022.

This week Mona C. Griesberg (Global-MINDs student) shared some of the insights that she gained from presenting UL Engage's "I must be some person" report at a s*x work research workshop in Germany ("Interdisziplinärer Workshop zu Kritischer Sexarbeitsforschung"). We discussed the emotional moral discourse surrounding s*x work, the complexity of the matter, and the variety of factors and steps that need to be considered to increase the well-being of this highly stigmatized group.
