A bigger and better FOOD VILLAGE at this year's Limerick Show 2019 - Sunday 25th August will showcase the very best of local food produce 😋. Supported by Local Enterprise Office Limerick and themed 'Limerick Food Experience at Limerick Show', local producers will have foods for you to sample and purchase such as farmhouse cheeses, free range pork products, breads, honey, vegan cakes, farmhouse ice cream & healthy chocolate! Many producers will also be selling hot food for immediate consumption.

Among the producers attending include Miss Muffin, Truly Irish Country Foods, Emerald Oils, Rigney's Farm, Sadie's Cordial, Happy Food at Home, O Briens Cheese, BeeActiv, Magic Mayan Chocolate, Kearneys Home Baking, N2N Health Bars, Country Munch, Ishka Irish Spring Water, Adare Farm, Bally Goats Cheese, Irish Gourmet Mushrooms & MUSH cupcakes.

Four Limerick chefs will also run cookery demonstrations in the marquee - more on that later! It’s sure to be a feast for the senses so start getting your shopping list ready 🥥🥝🥑🥔🍞🧀🥓🍨🧁🍯🍫 Please SHARE 😁

Eucryphia is a beautiful tree from Australasia which produces heavily scented flowers rich in pollen & nectar. A must have for bee lovers with slightly larger gardens. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Bramble plays a huge role in the Irish bee’s diet. June has been disappointing but with hot weather on the way, here’s hoping !

Bramble honey is pale in colour and light in taste, for those who admire a more delicate sweetness.
