Our Story

BeeActiv was set up in August 2014 by Conan McDonnell BSc and Dr. Michael Geary through their shared passion for beekeeping and love for nature. Michael tends to his bees in the majestic Golden Vale area of Tipperary and Conan cares for his bees just outside the picturesque village of Adare in Co. Limerick. All our honey is unfiltered and unpasteurised (Raw). We also work with some of Ireland’s finest Beekeepers to make sure there’s enough glorious Irish honey to go around.

Our Honeys and Honey Lozenges are available in all good independent Health Food Stores and Fine Food Stores Nationwide. You can also purchase our honey through FB on our website and for our UK customers; on Amazon.

Our Irish Blossom Honey has won a Blas na hÉireann SILVER medal for 2016 & 2017 and our Raw Ivy Honey won a 2-Star Great Taste Award in 2017
