I have had loads of enquiries about yoga classes, which is wonderful! My classes are filling up quickly due to demand, so please book early to avoid disappointment. I want to tell you the biggest lesson I learned from my daughter's birth: follow your heart ❤️ Consider what others have to say, including your partner, but ultimately connect to your inner wisdom and allow it to guide you.

Eleven+ years ago I became a birth geek 🤓 I read, I watched documentaries and hired a fantastic doula. The more I learned, the more I deeply felt in my soul I NEED TO BIRTH THIS BABY AT HOME.

Then I spoke to my husband about it. This was his first baby, my second 🤰 He felt uneasy about home birth but felt a doula supporting us in the hospital was a great compromise. It wasn't.

We were educated. We had amazing support from our doula. But the hospital still created so much unnecessary pressure. I still felt like I was trying to give birth in a place that was full of disturbances 🏥 My anxiety increased just walking through the doors.

Did we have an okay experience? Yes— but I knew then (and now) that birth could be so much more ✨️ I've come to terms with the fact that I made the wrong choice for me. I wish I had listened to myself. I wish I had planned the home birth my heart so deeply wanted 💜

Yes, my husband's feelings matter, but it was *my body* giving birth. My body and mind which had to heal, recover and cope with some physical issues which were totally preventable‼️

My daughter's birth in a hospital was my last. My next three babies were born at home.
