We’re inviting passionate, skilled, and committed individuals to join our Board and help guide our work supporting adults with intellectual disabilities into meaningful, supported paid employment.
Through our Rising Together training programmes, we empower participants with the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to thrive in today’s workplace.
As a Board Member, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the future of our work and expanding its impact.
About the Role:
As a Board Member, you will provide strategic oversight, ensure strong governance, and help us grow our mission.
You might be a great fit if you have experience in:
-Previous board service
-Working in the social enterprise sector
-Governance, leadership, or non-profit management
-Finance, accounting, or business strategy
-Legal and compliance matters
-Business development and corporate partnerships
-Disability inclusion, social care, or advocacy
-Fundraising, sales, or marketing
-Lived experience of disability
What you’ll do:
-Contribute to strategy and key decision-making
-Review programme impact and outcomes
-Support financial oversight and sustainability
-Champion inclusion and our social mission
-Help build partnerships, opportunities, and awareness
-Support fundraising campaigns
This is a voluntary role but offers a unique opportunity to make a real and lasting difference in people’s lives.
