STRETCHING :
STATIC stretches are when the muscle is extended for a period of time and best performed after exercise.
DYNAMIC stretchs aren't held in one position but are moved through a range of motion and should be functional to the activity you are about to participate in. In other words they should be sports specific. They can benefit your speed and power as opposed to static stretching that has been shown to decrease performance when performed prior to sporting activities. Contact me for further advice
