Hi Everyone,

As of tomorrow I will be on maternity leave from the therapy room.During my leave, this page/my email/my phone will not be monitored.

My date of return is TBC, however as before, on my return my capacity will remain extremely limited. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support over the past 4.5 years.

🏡✨ We’re inviting parents and guardians to join us for a special consultation workshop as part of the needs assessment for a new Family Resource Centre in Longford Town. 🏡💬

Children under 6 are welcome to take part in a fun, creative arts-based workshop where they can express what makes them feel happy and safe in their community. 💛🎨 It’s a great way for little ones to share their voices through art!

We are delighted to inform you that the newly updated (fourth edition) of the Longford Westmeath Guide to Services for Young People with Disabilities is now available to download.

A limited number of hard copies will be available in the coming weeks in various venues in Longford and Westmeath through Longford Childcare Committee and Westmeath County Childcare Committee CLG

The development and revision of this resource, has been led out by the Early Years Learning Subgroup of the Longford Westmeath CYPSC, and is a result of an extensive collaboration by partner organisations, as well as consultation with parents, early years professionals as well as Special Educational Needs teachers to provide relevant and up to date information and supports to parents, guardians and organisations providing services to children and young people aged 0-24years with additional needs in Longford and Westmeath.

This project has been co-funded by a number of agencies, namely LW CYPSC, Westmeath County Council, Westmeath Community Development and North Midlands Credit Union.

Thank you to Angela Locke Reilly, researcher for her work on this project.

A special word of thanks also to Westmeath County Childcare Committee who is the lead agency in the coordination of this project.
