Thank you very much LTFC

The club recently presented a cheque to Victor Connell of Longford counselling services after our recent bucket collection at our last home game of the season. 🙌🏻

Thank you to all supporters who donated to this vital service for our Town and County.

as our idonate page for our fundraiser closes i would like to thank paul brady aka msykes from jf promotions who organised a great mental health awareness day and night on october bank holiday weekend. in all there was 3,158 euro raised. i would also like to thank all who donated and who sponsored the day and all the volunteers who gave their time on the day to help the event run. i would also iike to thank the speakers, anna delaney, andy smith, gerry warnock and joe flatherty who spoke very well on the day. a big thank you to all musicans and dj's on the night. this money will help keep our low cost Longford counselling services open and accessible to all. thanks again to paul for all his hard work and enthusism for the cause.

All of us here at Longford counselling services would like to thank" everyone matters" fundraising committee of Janet Ledwith Dolores ledwith, Paul skelly, leah ledwith, noel O'Neil, Susan tighe and Damien tighe who put in a huge effort in fundraising €5,726 euro for us by having a truck/car/bike run on June b/h and a bbq in July.we would also like to thank those who supported them and us by taking part and through donations as you may never know when you might need our service. this will help us hugely as we get no grants or funding.we currently have 7 iacp accepted counsellors and 3 students working towatds their acceratation and a receptionist who all give their time volunterraley. All this while only charging €25 euro a session or less if people are struggling with that amount. Private sessions are at least €60 and a 18 month waiting list for HSE.At the moment we are seeing between 50-60 people a week of all ages,gender and race. We currently have a 3-4 week waiting list This money will be put towards electricity and phone/broadband bills and rent for the year as will all monies raised for LCS thanks again victor and all here at Longford counselling services.
