We regret to inform you of the passing of the late John (JQ) Quigley, Ferefad, Longford, 4th July 2025. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the care of the wonderful staff of the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar.

Predeceased by his son Stephen and Parents Anna and Tom.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife and best friend Kathleen, heartbroken children John, Sarah, Trevor, Paul and Katie, daughters-in-law Virgina and Brenda, sons-in-law Jerzy and Éamonn, grandchildren Saffron, Jack, Ozzie, Harvey, Maria, Hope, Harper, Autym and Annmarie, brother Thomas, sisters Shirley (James) and Ann (Melia), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, good friends and neighbours.

He is predeceased by his parents Anthony and Mary McGowan, brother Pat, sister Margaret Fox and brother-in-law Peter McGinnity.

We regret to inform you of the passing of the late John Horgan, No. 46 Cluain Na Sibhe, Killashee, Co. Longford, (Former Sergeant of 4th Motor / Cavalry Squadron). Tuesday 20th of May 2025, peacefully surrounded by his loving family and in the exceptional care of the staff of The Clonmacnoise Ward of The Midland Regional Hospital, Tulllamore.

Predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters.

John will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his loving wife Marie, children Michelle, Clodagh, Joey, Sinéad, Roberta, Rose and their mother Rose, step-daughters Sharon and Natasha, cherished grandchildren Niamh, Nathan, Kian, Corey, Callum, Cody, Sean, Katie, Sarah, Paul, Chloe, Kayla, Lily, Rania, Khaled and Gemma., adored great grandchildren Arlene, Indie and Noah, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, sons-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, many good friends, comrades and neighbours.

We regret to inform you of the passing of the late, Michael (Mike) Skelly, Glebe, Colehill, Co. Longford, passed away peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff of Level 4 of The Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar on 20th December 2024, surrounded by his loving daughters and granddaughter, in his 74th year. Predeceased by his parents John and Bridget Skelly, his sister Mary Dolan and wife, Anne Collins Skelly.

Sadly missed by his beloved daughters Natasha and Sharon, grandchildren Gemma, Rania and Khaled, brother Liam, his daughter’s mother Marie, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Predeceased by his Parents Patrick and Mary Kate, sisters Mary Dunleavy, Nelly Morrissey, Margaret Fortune and Kate Hagan and brother Peter Hagan.

Sadly missed by her loving daughters Tonnette and Mary, brothers John and Tommy, son-in-law Joe, grandchildren Martin, Paul, Eimear, Cathal and Cian, great-grandchildren Cillian, Jake, Lucy and Charlotte, extended family, relatives and friends.
