Thank you very much to the Longford Manchester United Supporters Club who made a very generous donation to St Christophers recently. Pictured are members of the committee who called in to make the donation and Jessica, Zoe and Bernard were on hand to take the cheque... Well done all at Man Utd!!

Every year the lovely lads from Heatseizers Motor Cycle Club donate Easter Eggs to all our Service Users. They called again last week to everyones delight. A lovely gesture from the club. Thank you Noel Jordan and everyone at Heatseizers.

Thank you to Ion and Ioana.
Ion drives the bus.
Ioana made Easter Bunnies for all the passengers.
She also made an Easter Bunny and raffled it amongst her colleagues in Social Welfare.
Everyone was delighted with their gifts and thank you Ioana's colleagues who entered the draw and donated to St Christopher's. Karen Fitzpatrick was the lucky winner of Bunny.
Thanks again... a lovely gesture which is very much appreciated.

Thank you so much to Mrs Rosie Sullivan and all her volunteers who organised a wonderful coffee morning in Lanesborough in support of St Christophers. The event was really well supported by the community in Lanesborough and attended by many of our staff and board members as well as lots of local people. We are very grateful to Mrs Sullivan and the people of the area who donated so generously. The funds will be put to good use to support our service users.

We have a bit of catching up to do on our facebook and thank yous... the people of Longford continue to be very supportive of the work we do in St Christopher’s and we are very grateful! There have been coffee mornings... egg hunts... raffles. It is heartening to see how good people can be and that the community of Longford and beyond give us such generous support. All donations are used to provide the best possible facilities and activities for our service users. Thank you all!

St Christopher's was delighted to host a gathering of Finance Managers from members of the Federation of Voluntary Service Providers from across the country here in Longford today.

Tia Crowley, Head of Finance, Western Care was the Chair. "It was great for us to get together to share our ideas and discuss areas of mutual interest as we strive to provide the best possible support to our teams and our service users."

Declan Kenny, CEO St Christopher's, thanked everyone for coming and for James Morgan for organsiing the event with Tia and the FedVol Team.

Ensuring we have adequate funding that is well managed is vital to the future of our services.

Well done to all involved in organising and supporting Longford Lights. Over 100 of our people here in St Christopher's contributed to the event which was attended by thousands of people over the weekend. Wonderful scenes.
