The aim of counselling is to help you reach your potential and to facilitate exploration of your own thoughts and feelings and ultimately help you to arrive at your own solutions. One to one counselling provides you with the skills to deal differently and constructively with the very real difficulties and challenges life can present. It allows you to find the assistance you need to face your difficulties or concerns. This may in turn deepen your understanding of your own issues. Along with this you may find that your existing coping skills change in an incremental fashion allowing you to cope better with your situation as time goes on.
