What an amazing three days we spent at the National Ploughing Championships last week. We were hosted in the marquee of our Local Enterprise Office who were so helpful and attentive. Our Sam and Sue stand was colourful and inviting and we received a fantastic reception from everyone!! Our Children's Safety Series of books was commended by those who visited our stand which included our President Michael D. Higgins and his wife Sabina, our Tanaiste Micheal Martin and award winning Chef Neven Maguire to name but a few.......sorry for the name dropping !!!😀
Our Author Ann Linehan Child Psychologist spent a day signing books much to the delight of customers. A much needed resource to instill a sense of safety awareness in children, our range of books are a fantastic addition to school and home libraries. Bookkeeper / Office Administrator required for Health & Safety Publications Ltd., based in Mallow, Co. Cork with immediate start. Full time position. We are looking for an energetic highly organised person who will be required to undertake tasks which will include Bookkeeping and general office administration duties.

Responsibilities
• Answering the phone, and dealing with general enquiries
• Processing phone orders and payments via Stripe
• Accounts Receivable - payment allocation, customer account reconciliations, monthly statements, Credit Control
• Accounts Payable - invoice posting, payment allocation, supplier accounts reconciliations
• Bank Postings and reconciliations
• Preparing and filing of VAT returns and payment of other company taxes
• General office administration duties
• Other ad hoc duties as they may arise / Assist colleagues whenever necessary

Requirements
• Computer literate with:
• Experience in using SAGE 50 is required
• Experience using ROS.
• Proven experience as an office administrator
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
• The ability to work on own initiative
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office

I have just heard that the Permanent TSB Community Fund have organised the first ever "Cyber Break" taking place this Friday 16th October, for 24 hours beginning at 5pm. Families across Ireland have been asked to switch off their devices and replace screen time with offline family fun. With this in mind I would like to remind you of our Cybersafety book which aims to develop safety awareness in young children regarding their online activity.
