Aperee Living Churchtown Padrepio Care Home Churchtown is a private 47 Bed Nursing Home. The home provides professional care and support in a friendly and homely environment.

We took full advantage of the fine weather this week the ladies headed to the Donkey Sanctuary where they had a lovely chat with one of the staff there about the Donkeys. Also this week our Head Chef Trish brought us home lovely treats from Normandy where we celebrated a French Day with homemade apple crepes and some Bel Normande sparkling juices. Yesterday our Head chef Trish gave our staff a selection of Chinese delicacies, it went down a treat.

We took advantage of the sunshine today by heading out to Doneraile park to have a walk around and enjoy a picnic prepared by our wonderful chef Trish. What a day to be out and about, glorious sunshine and beautiful views. We even stopped for an ice cream on the way home

We spent a lovely afternoon recently helping our fabulous Activities Co-ordinator Diane Foley celebrate the imminent arrival of her baby, with a surprise baby shower! We all enjoyed the food and 'interesting' baby shower games , organised by Judy. Best of luck to Diane !
