I learned something new this year . . .

You don't have to have it all figured out.

Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is pause.
Put your hand on your heart.
And ask yourself - how am I really doing?

That one quiet moment of honesty? It's where healing begins.

Whether it's on the treatment table, in a morning ritual, or with a journal and a cup of tea - you deserve space to come back to yourself. πŸ’œ

I had the most wonderful client in today. πŸ’œ

Her ears had been giving her trouble, so we moved through a tailored session together. I chose the flows that spoke most clearly to what her body was asking for - and she rested comfortably on the plinth. At the end, she noticed her right ear felt so much better . . . but the left was still calling for attention.

I smiled - because I had already worked with two different facets of her energy, one on each side. The body is wonderfully responsive like that.

Before she left, I showed her this simple hold to try at home - to extend the benefits of her treatment and to keep supporting that energy still nudging for her attention.

* Right hand on left temple. Left hand on right elbow. Breathe. Relax. Feel the change.

This is the 1st step of the JSJ umbilicus flow - a beautiful energy pathway that supports the ears and helps repair the entire body. It's one of those flows that looks so simple and yet lands so deeply.

Would you like to know more about this amazing energy pathway?

Do you have a story to share about this?

Drop a ⭐ in the comments or send me a message. I'd love to share more.

One of my favourite holds

As we wrap up another week, give your immune system an extra boost by placing your hands on your chest, two ribs down from the collarbone on each side. This hold also boosts creativity.

Happy May Bank Holiday! β˜€οΈπŸŒΈ

I'm amazed that it's May already. I missed doing the Maypole and May Day baskets for my neighbours, but my spirits are still high - the longer days, the flowers, that little extra bit of sunshine (hopefully it will last) . . .

I love a bank holiday to slow down, breathe it all in, and choose JOY. πŸ™ƒ

May is such a beautiful month for new beginnings. So whether you're out for a walk, spending time with loved ones, or simply enjoying a cuppa in the garden - I hope today brings you something that makes you smile.

Here's to a month full of good moments, good health, and good company!πŸ’›

What are you doing to enjoy the bank holiday?

May the sun bring you new energy by day.
May the moon softly restore you by night.
May the rain wash away your worries.
May the breeze blow new strength into your being.
May you walk gently through the world and know its beauty all the days of your life.
Such a beautiful blessing - does anyone know who wrote this? I'd love to give proper creditπŸ’œ

These hand positions are one of my favourite ways to recharge on the go: simple, subtle, and surprisingly powerful.

This photo was taken during a short break in Donadea Forest Park, where I was holding Mudra 3 - two fingers gently held, just as you see here. Yesterday, I shared another version of Mudra 3 with 3 fingers, and both work beautifully to restore your energy.

The mudras are perfect when you don't have time for a full treatment. They work with the same energy I support as a holistic therapist.

One of the true blessings about JSJ, harmony is never out of reach.

Have you tried the mudras? Share your own story about the magic of the mudras?

Your Hands πŸ–οΈπŸ€šπŸ’œ

They carry you through every moment of every day. They connect you to the world, to the people you love, and to yourself.

But do you really recognise their power?

What if feeling better was a simple as holding your hands?

This gentle hand position is one of my favourites for releasing tension. Try it now:

πŸ‘‰Rest your thumb on the palm side of your middle, ring, and little fingers. Place your other hand's fingers on the nail side of those same fingers as shown in the picture. Hold for just 5 minutes - and notice what changes.

It's that simple. Your hands already know how to help you heal. 🌿

More tomorrow on why this works.✨

So true - thank you Gail!

Where's your happy place?

Here's me in my happy place - it's my treatment room with two of my favourite pieces of artwork.

The watercolour silhouette is a print I purchased from Amy Haufman Bates years ago. I saved for ages to buy it and each time I see it, it makes me smile. I love the stories behind it and the sheer beauty of it.

The smaller ink painting of a tree is an Irish artist Margaret Farrell who created it as part of a new process she was exploring. She calls it the Ephemeral Tree and it just really calls to me with the power of nature and creativity.

There are many more things that I bring into this special treatment room, but these are the two that I'd like to highlight today.

So two questions, if you're so inclined:

1) where is your happy place?
2) do you prefer the body map or the tree?

Fascinating!

Fascinating!

I love when science & technology catch up to what those in the ancient healing arts from TCM & Jin Shin Jyutsu have known for centuries!

These are the energetic channels in the body that we practitioners have used for eon’s to promote healing, and harmonize the mental/emotional/ physical & spiritual levels of being in the sessions we provide.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Scientists just mapped a completely unknown third circulatory system in the human body β€” a fluid network connecting every organ simultaneously that textbooks have never described and medical training has never taught.
Researchers at New York University School of Medicine used a new tissue preservation technique that keeps biological structures intact during microscopy preparation, revealing a previously invisible network of fluid-filled spaces surrounded by collagen bundles running through connective tissue in every organ, along every blood vessel, and beneath every skin surface in the body. Named the interstitium, this network contains 20 liters of fluid β€” more than the combined volume of blood and lymph β€” flowing continuously between organs through channels that collapse flat when tissue is prepared using conventional dehydration techniques, making the network invisible in the 150 years of microscopy that preceded this discovery.
The interstitium appears to function as a body-wide mechanical shock absorber protecting organs from compression forces during movement, a fluid highway transporting immune cells between organs faster than the lymphatic system, and a pressure equalization network that maintains consistent fluid environment across all body systems simultaneously. Cancer cells spreading through the body appear to exploit interstitial flow pathways, which may explain why certain cancers spread to apparently distant and unrelated organs in patterns that conventional vascular anatomy cannot account for.
Every medical textbook written before 2018 describes human anatomy as having two circulatory systems. Every anatomy course taught since ancient Greece has been incomplete.
