Our U8's & U10's are making great use of their new sliotars that were kindly sponsored by Cong Pharmacy recently. Training continues on Fridays at 6pm on the AstroTurf in Ballinrobe. New comers are always welcome!

We are thrilled to announce that we are hosting a customer first aid day in Cong Community Centre on Saturday March 29th. First aid and CPR knowledge is a vital tool to have in every community and this course will benefit everybody from new parents to grandparents to community workers and everyone in between 🩹⛑️

Eimear and the team from will cover a vast range of topics including CPR and defibrillator use for all ages, Children’s first aid, Choking for all ages, Heart Attack and stroke situations, wound and burn management, Head injuries and medical emergencies plus more. There will also be a question and answer session at the end to give participants the opportunity to ask any questions they may have. Each participant will receive a certificate at the end of the day.

The course will run from 11am until about 5pm including a break where refreshments will be provided. This first aid day is free of charge to participants and all costs involved are covered by Cong Pharmacy. This is our way of saying thank you for all the support you all give us throughout the year 😊

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Please pop in to us to secure your place. We will also be running a cancellation list once the places are filled but we would kindly ask that you don’t put your name down for a place if you think you may not be available on that date. Thank you.

Due to the red weather warnings for tomorrow, Friday 24th January, we ask that patients order and collect their medication today if possible.

The Pharmacy will be open today normal hours from 9.30am - 6pm.

On Friday 24th January the pharmacy will not open until the later time of 12.30pm - 6pm.

These hours are subject to change depending on the advice from Met Eireann so please keep an eye out for regular updates.

We had a fantastic Christmas staff night out last night in before all the madness begins. It’s nice to have a get together outside the counter every now and again. The food and atmosphere was brilliant as usual but most importantly Thanks a million to these exceptional bunch of ladies (Olive included - taking the pic) who work so hard all year round and go above and beyond for us. We are so lucky to have such a great bunch who bring an awful lot of hard work and craic to Cong Pharmacy ☺️🙌. A special mention also for Mrs C who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes as well as everything at home, there wouldn’t be a Cong Pharmacy without her🤶.

❗️Christmas Opening Hours ❗️

Here are our opening hours over the Christmas period. December is a very busy month for everyone so please order your prescriptions in advance of collection where possible. Ordering in advance saves you a wait when you come in to collect and it also gives us a chance to prepare prescriptions beforehand and spread the workload. 😊 Many thanks!
