Noga-Yoga

Noga-Yoga Yoga is about getting to know your mind and body, staying in touch with your breath. One pose does not suit all, your journey is your own.

Make time for yourself and see the difference in a short space of time. Every Body is a yoga body.

❤️A few people have been asking about signing up — yes, there are still spaces left in the new block 🙌

❤️All classes have availability except Thursday at 7pm…
That one fills up faster than I can say “roll up your mat.”

But don’t panic.
Have a look at the other class times and pick one that suits your life.

❤️There’s a lovely mix of energy across the week, and sometimes the class you didn’t plan on is the one you end up loving.❤️

And if you need to miss a class here and there or swap around to make one up, that’s absolutely fine.
Life is busy — yoga is here to support it, not stress you out.✌️🙏

Find a time that works.
Book your space.🙏
I’ll take care of the rest.🧘‍♀️❤️🙏

Payments due this week. Thanks for all your bookings and payments so far. It is very much appreciated. 💜🙏

Nothing fancy for the next two weeks of our yoga block.
Just putting all the pieces together.
Over the past six weeks we’ve worked on supporting the lower back, moving the spine in all directions, building quiet core strength, finding steadiness in balance, and softening the nervous system when we needed to.
We even gave a bit of attention to the neck — because the spine doesn’t stop at the shoulders.
You’ve built the support.
Now we move with it.
These next two weeks are about trust — letting everything work together without overthinking it.
Let's go.
Newbies always welcome 🙏 🧘‍♀️❤️

New Yoga Block Begins March 3rd
8 weeks together (with breaks for St. Patrick’s Day and Easter week — because we all need chocolate and celebrations ☘️🐣)

You don’t need experience.
You don’t need flexibility.
You don’t need fancy leggings !!!
“Public service announcement: Yoga does not require shiny leggings.” 😄

You just need the willingness to show up.
And here’s the thing — this is something you come to for yourself.
Not because someone dragged you.
Not because your friend said you “should”.
But because something in you is curious.

For one hour, you step out of whatever role you play in life —
worker, partner, parent, student, carer, busy human being —
and you simply become a person on a mat.
You find your space.
You move.
You breathe properly.
You notice what your body is saying instead of telling it what to do.
Some days you’ll feel strong.
Some days tight.
Some days gloriously relaxed lying in savasana thinking,
“Why don’t I do this more often?”

Yoga isn’t about the pose.
It’s about awareness.
Strength without strain.
Mobility without forcing.
Calm without switching off from real life.
It’s about understanding your own body, connecting with your breath, and building a kind of quiet resilience that follows you back out the door.
Come as you are.
That’s more than enough.🙏❤️🙏❤️

The lower back carries so much — physically and emotionally 💛
This week in class we’re slowing things down
and giving it a little extra care.
We’ll focus on gentle movement,
support from the hips and core,
and finding comfort rather than pushing.
All classes are adaptable — Yin, Hatha, and Chair —
and always guided with choice and ease.
You’re very welcome, just as you are 🌿

❤️This week we are moving the spine in all the ways it should move, to stay healthy and bendy!🙏
🌿 The Importance of a Healthy Spine🌱

A healthy spine supports movement, balance and posture.
It protects the nervous system and allows the body to move with ease rather than effort.

When the spine stays mobile:
🌱We move more freely
🌱We breathe more fully
🌱The nervous system feels calmer
Everyday activities feel lighter🤸‍♀️

Small, regular movements keep the spine nourished and resilient — at any age.🙏

"You’re only as young as your spine is flexible"

My absolute favourite pose.❤️
Look at all the benefits in one simple form. 🙏
For those that can't get down on the floor you can do this in your bed. 🧘‍♀️
So find the nearest wall and throw your legs up! ❤️

Strength Looks Different in Every Practice.🙏

We often think of strength as something we can see — strong legs, strong arms, holding a pose for a long time.
But yoga shows us that strength comes in many forms.

❤️ In Hatha yoga, strength is steady and supportive.
It’s in standing tall, feeling grounded through the feet, and allowing the body to hold itself with ease. There’s effort, yes — but also awareness. Knowing when to engage, and when to soften, is part of the practice.

❤️ In Chair yoga, strength is practical and deeply real.
It’s about balance, coordination and trust. Strength shows up in staying present, working with the body as it is today, and feeling supported rather than pushed. This practice reminds us that strength doesn’t need to look impressive — it just needs to feel honest.

❤️ In Yin yoga, strength becomes quiet.
There is strength in stillness. Strength in staying with sensation. Strength in allowing things to unfold rather than trying to change them. Yin asks us to slow down, to listen, and to trust that doing less can sometimes offer more.

🙏 Together, these practices remind us that:
Strength can be active or gentle It can feel strong, or it can feel soft
It can be about holding — or about letting go.

Yoga teaches us that real strength isn’t about forcing the body.
It’s about meeting ourselves with awareness, kindness, and a willingness to stay.

Look forward to seeing you all throughout the week.
If you missed classes please feel free to make them up.
5 more weeks in this block.
Let's go.
Bring it! 😊🙏❤️🧘‍♀️

This week we’re focusing on the legs and the meridian lines that run up and down them. The legs hold many of the body’s main energy pathways, connecting the feet all the way through to our internal organs and deeper layers of tissue.
We’ll move gently and slowly into the legs, working not just with muscle, but also with the connective tissue and the meridians that support organs like the kidneys, liver, spleen and digestive system. By giving these areas time and attention, we help nourish the body from the inside out.
This is a grounding, steady practice — supportive, calming and deeply releasing — especially if you’ve been feeling tight, heavy or a little depleted. Expect a sense of space, softness and quiet strength as the body gradually lets go.
