On this lovely winters Sunday afternoon, take the opportunity to rest and relax by the fire. Winter is all about slowing down, just like the animals as they hibernate and rest more over the winter season. We as humans also need to rest and prepare for the spring. We don't need to be rushing around and thinking we need to be doing stuff..
Take this opportunity to recharge your batteries, relax, read a good book, mediate, do some gentle yoga stretches, watch a uplifting movie, go for a light stroll in the forest or by the sea or maybe take a afternoon nap . Do something that refill your cup. Animals are our teachers, if we watch them we will learn a lot from them. So instead of complaining of the rain, the dark days, the long nights, do something nice for yourself .The cycle of nature is what we need to pay attention to in our lives. The animals never go against nature and its elements, instead they embrace them. Resting is healing within itself.
