Myself and Sarah invite you to join us for a powerful evening to celebrate Lughnasadh, the first of the Celtic harvest festivals. It is a sacred time to honour growth, gratitude and the shifting of the seasons 🌾

Lughnasadh is named after the Irish god Lugh~ a solar God of light, craft, skill and leadership. Traditionally a time of gathering and celebration, we honour both the outer harvest of the land and the inner harvest of our ownpersonal journeys.

🌀 This special event will include a connection circle followed by a deeply soul-soothing sound bath on the beach as the sun sets over the sea. It will be a space to come home to yourself, connect with others and replenish.

Awaken your body and senses into Spring on this unique afternoon in nature with Sarah from and The Nature Hub

The intention behind this day is to offer you a creative space to reconnect with nature and to invite you into a space to relax your mind and body through a sound bath under the trees

You will be welcomed around the fire with a grounding invitation, followed by time to create your own Kokedama with Kerry.

Kokedama is a style of Japanese bonsai in which a plant’s root system is wrapped in moss and bound with string, transforming it into a living sculpture.
Loosely translated, koke means ‘moss’ and dama means ‘ball’.
These hanging plants are a strikingly beautiful accent for any room at home. The Kokedama can be hung up or placed on a saucer.

There will be time to eat a lovingly prepared vegetarian lunch cooked over the fire.

After lunch Sarah will guide you on a sound bath under the trees. You will be supported to allow your body to soften on the mossy floor while your senses are bathed in the sounds and vibrations of the singing bowls.

A Saturday morning a little different but magical in Ballyvourney this Saturday the 8th of February.

According to tradition, Saint Gobnait herself was a Healer / Medicine Woman and a Blacksmith. So, this year, as part of Ballyvourney’s St Gobnait festival, 2 interesting events are planned in St Gobnait Wood this Saturday 8th from 9.30am.

Firstly, there will be a free 'Sound Bath' session, in the open air, given by local me, at 09.30 in the morning. (Bring yoga mats and blankets and warm clothes).

Afterwards, we will meet Tom King, 'The Blacksmith'.
This Artist Blacksmith will demonstrate ancient metal crafts as he demonstrates, and replicates work from the first early Celtic metalworkers.

This free outdoor event will take place in Coill Naomh Gobnatan this Saturday at 12 noon and all events will be moved under cover if the weather is bad.

The wood and car park are located on culaodh Road, across the bridge from the Mills in Ballyvourney and on your left hand side after the bridge.
