Where are all the protests about this, the country is up in arms about things happening in every part of the world while the political class here line their pockets with gold .

TD’S & SENATORS SET FOR SALARY HIKE FROM FEBURARY 1st 💶

This is the first of two pay rises this year with a second increase scheduled for June 1st

The new pay scale will see a TD’s annual wage increase on Sunday to almost €120,000

The rise brings their annual base salary to €118,284

Their income has been increased by over €1,000 under the latest national public sector pay deal

The Taoiseach’s salary is made up of the initial TD salary and is then topped up by an allowance of €134,148 brining the total to €252,432

The Ceann Comhairle’s pay will increase to €264,402 this includes the general TD salary as well as an allowance of €146,118

A Senators base salary is also set to go up from €82,018 to €82,838
