I set up the business Bump, Birth and Babe during Covid when I noticed so many families struggling to access perinatal education as a result of lockdowns and restrictions. I also noticed that the general, public classes just d
idn't suit everyone. People who had more than one baby didn't want to attend because the felt it was "too basic and long" when all they needed was a quick refresher. People who were in same s*x couples, of different race or cultures, using surrogates or adopting (or putting a baby up for adoption) didn't feel the classes suited them because they were aimed at the stereotypical heteros*xual, white couple and didn't really allow for much change. My classes are all personalised and customised meaning the only things we will cover are the things that matter to you. Whether that's cutting out the parts of pregnancy, childbirth or the postpartum period that aren't going to be relevant to you, adding religious or cultural changes for you, or just giving a quick refresher of the things that might have changed since your last baby - don't worry, they still all come out the same way though! Soon after, I set up my etsy shop where I offer unique and personalised digital prints, baby clothes and accessories. I also offer a few quirky bits for nurses and midwives! To top it all off, I can make just about any unique design, so if you have something particular in mind, let me know and I'll give it a whirl.
