At this time of year the plants are starting to appear, and you might feel that pull to go out and connect with them.

One of the first things I teach is that getting to know a herb is like getting to know a person. You take your time. You notice them. You learn to recognise them.💚

This is not just about connection, it is also about safety...

Right now, primrose is emerging, but without its flowers it can easily be mistaken for foxglove. This is something I see every year.

This photo shows foxglove, comfrey and primrose leaves together. Two gentle medicines but one can cause real harm.

Can you tell the difference?
