MY APPROACH
I work from a Humanistic and Integrative approach, which emphasises a holistic way of working – integrating the whole person – emotionally, psychologically, physically, spiritually.
It is not always easy to talk. Sometimes there are no words to describe a feeling, particularly with trauma. Therefore, I also use Art Therapy, Sand, Clay, Mindfulness, Visualisations and relaxation exercises amongst others, to help people express their feelings.

THERAPEUTIC PLAY
What is Therapeutic Play and how can it help?
Therapeutic Play is facilitated through a variety of mediums called the Therapeutic Toolkit – including Sand Tray, Puppetry, Art, Music, Movement Clay. Therapeutic Play is a natural way of helping children
Working with Children through Therapeutic Play and Creative Arts. This can help increase confidence and self-esteem, improve concentration, build resilience. It can help children become less anxious and worried. This in turn can have a positive impact in the family home, along with learning in the classroom, and in social interactions with peers and friends.
