Movember's new 'The Real Face of Men's Health' report for the Republic of Ireland shows that:

- 3 in 4 adults are concerned about the state of menโ€™s health across all political, age and gender lines.
- Over 80% of the public support having a dedicated Menโ€™s Health Action Plan.
- Half of adults believe young men are becoming increasingly disconnected from society.
- Young people are especially concerned about menโ€™s mental health, loneliness, and disconnection.

Menโ€™s health is, therefore, a unifying issue. Supporting men's health benefits partners, families, communities, workplaces and the economy.

The physical and mental health benefits of regular physical activity are immense.

However, across Ireland most people are not active enough to experience these benefits.

Only 1 in 4 primary school children and 1 in 8 teenagers are active enough to meet the recommended guidelines. For adults, itโ€™s 4 in 10.

HSE Ireland are delivering a free webinar on Wednesday 24th September 2025, from 2.00pm to 3.15pm, about the following:

The forthcoming National Physical Activity Framework and Action Plan 2024-2028 โœ…

How everyone working in healthcare can help promote physical activity and make Every Move Count โœ…
