The new 6 week block of classes will be starting Monday the 3th of November, up until the 8th of December!

The new sequence will focus on Kidney and Bladder Meridian lines which run along the inner thighs, the spine and hamstrings so it will be a lovely practice that includes forward bends which are wonderful for helping us to turn more inward and blocking out the outside world for a short while. Almost like our own mini hibernation!

This time of year corresponds to the Earth Element, which is also called the Mother of all the elements. It's the transition period between all Seasons; however, it tends to be stronger this time of year between Summer and Autumn... the Indian Summer.
The Earth element is a very caring and nurturing element; it represents stability, grounding, nourishment, and connection to the physical body and world. It never ceases to amaze me how practices like Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda seem to know exactly what we need and when, because right now, I feel like what I need is grounding and stability. So what you'll see in class this term is accessible core stability alongside using the feet to create a strong foundation that filters up to the knees, hip, and spine.
