The peaceful death has occurred of Anne Gallagher (née McGonagle), Hall Demesne, Mountcharles, (originally Cloughglass, Burtonport), surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents Andrew and Sarah McGonagle, her sister Bridget Duncan and her brother John.

Sadly missed by her loving husband Eddie, her children Sandra (Bruce Greenwood), Nuala, Edward, Paul, Andrew (Michelle Harvey), Gloria (Damien McGlinchey), Rachael (Brendan Kelly), Colm (Lisa Bassett) and Gregory (Monica Hughes), her adored grandchildren Adam, Ryan, Noah, Oisín, Darragh, Alannah, Áine, Roman and Padaí, her sister-in-law Mary Dympna Cryan and her husband Jim, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Her remains will repose at Gallaghers Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles (F94 X02N) on Monday 25th May from 3pm–8pm and on Tuesday 26th May from 3pm–8pm.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday 27th May at 11am at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Mountcharles, with interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if so desired, to Donegal Community Hospital patients comfort fund.

The peaceful death has occurred in the gentle and exceptional care of doctors, nurses and staff of University Hospital, Coventry of Margaret Shine (nee Harvey), previously of Drumnaherk, Drimarone, Co Donegal on 22nd April 2026, aged 89.

Beloved wife of David and mother to daughter Jackie (Matt), Desmond (Julie) and Kevin (Claire), grandmother to Kieron (Lauren), David, Cassie and Millie and great-grandmother to Evie and Hughie.

Sadly missed by her brother Steve, wife Kathleen and sisters-in-law Rose and Pattie (Albert). Predeceased by her parents Jimmy and Josie, brother Seamus, his wife Marie and brother Patsy.

Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours at home and abroad.

May She Rest In Peace.

Funeral service to take place at the Precious Blood and All Souls Church, Coventry on Monday 1st June at 12 noon followed by cremation at Canley Crematorium in the Charter Chapel.

The peaceful death has occurred of Daniel (Danny) Gallagher, Ballyloughan, Bruckless, and formerly of St. Johns Point, Dunkineely, surrounded by his loving family in the caring hands of the staff at Harbour Lights Nursing Home, Killybegs.

Predeceased by his loving wife Annie (18th January 2026), his infant son Eugene and his parents Daniel & Mary Gallagher.

Sadly missed by his sons Donal (Marguerite) & Dermot (Rosie), his daughters Annemarie (Daniel), Carmel (John), Johanne (Paul), Marguerite (Derek), and his adoring grandchildren Aisling Caoimhe, Shania, Ryan, Katelyn, Kirsty, Jamie, Jessica, Sarah, Danny, Cian, Emma-Jane & Lee. His brothers, Patsy RIP (Alice), John-Joe RIP (Bridget), Charlie RIP (Kathleen RIP), Willie (Mary), his extended family, neighbours and friends.

Remains reposing at the family home at Ballyloughan, Bruckless (F94 Y6T0) on Tuesday 12th May from 3pm to 9pm, and on Wednesday 13th May from 12pm to 9pm. Rosary on both nights at 9pm.

Funeral Mass on Thursday 14th May at 12 noon in the Church of St Joseph and St Conal, Bruckless, with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

House private please on the morning of the funeral. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Harbour Light Nursing Home Patients Comfort Fund or the RNLI, care of any family member.

It is with great sadness that the death has occurred of Francis Gillespie, Hall Demesne, Mountcharles. Peacefully at his late residence, surrounded by his loving family, following a short illness.

Beloved husband of Anne Marie and loving father to Caroline, Cathy, Anne (Paul), and Francis. Cherished grandfather to Kevin, Aisling, Robyn, Richard, Paul and Conor. Much-loved brother to Joseph, Mary, Sean, Pauric and Paul. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all.

Predeceased by his parents Patsy and Kathleen, and nephew Shane.

May He Rest In Peace

His remains will repose at his late residence, Hall Demense, Mountcharles (F94 H9T7) on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th of May from 12pm to 10pm on both days.

Removal from there on Sunday 10th of May, going to the Church of the Sacred Heart Mountcharles, for funeral Mass at 11.30am, with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.
