The death has occurred of May Byrne, Lower Main Street, Mountcharles, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Cherished and adored mother of Alison (Donal), Tony (Sandra), Brian (Anita), Angela, Aine(Adrian) and much loved grandmother of Grace, Shéa, Daniel, Ella and Romy.
Predecesded by her loving husband Sonny and baby son James.

Rest In Peace

May will repose at Gallaghers Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles (F94 X02N) on Thursday 4th September from 3pm until 8pm, followed by removal to her late residence.

Funeral mass on Friday 5th September at 11am in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Mountcharles, with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

Family flowers only, please.

The peaceful death has occurred of Frederick ‘Freddie’ Duncan, Drumconnor, Mountcharles, (Eircode F94 Y202) after a short illness at his home surrounded by his devoted family.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Viola, his children Jennifer (Fiach), David (Emma), Anne-Claire (David) and Matthew (Kelly). Sadly missed by his adored grandchildren Sorcha, Rohan and Siomha, Lydia, Hannah and Chloe, Andrew, Jonathan, Alexander, Ellen, Alice and Eloise.

Predeased by his brother Bill (Celine).Also remembered by his sister Joyce (Billy) his nieces and nephews, extended family and many good friends and neighbours.

Remains will be reposing at his family home on Wednesday the 27th and Thursday the 28th from 2pm until 9pm.

Funeral service in St. John's Church, Inver on Friday the 29th at 2pm, followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to The Friends of Letterkenny University Hospital, c/o Gallagher Funeral Directors Mountcharles, or any family member.

The death has occurred of Charles Sheeran, Stonepark, Mountcharles, peacefully. Greatly missed by his family, David, John and Catherine, and large extended family.

Predeceased by his wife Catherine, parents John and Matilda, and his brother’s and sister.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gerard Laverty, who died peacefully on Friday 1st August, in the compassionate care of Aras Mhic Shuibhne, Mullinasole, Laghey, Co. Donegal, surrounded by his devoted family.

Formerly of Drumathumper, Frosses, Co. Donegal, Gerard was the beloved husband of the late Jean, a cherished father to Sally, Jean, Patricia, and Gerard, and a proud grandfather and great-grandfather to his 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He will be deeply missed by his surviving siblings; Ralph, Maire, Sally and Kathleen, as well as by his extended family, friends, and neighbours.

Gerard’s remains will repose at Gallaghers Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles F94 X02N on Sunday 3rd August from 2pm until 5pm, with a private cremation to take place at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Removal from Gallaghers Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles, (F94 X02N) today Sunday 20th July, at 5.30pm, going to her late residence to repose there from 7pm until 10pm, and tomorrow Monday 21st July, from 11am until 10pm.

Removal from her late residence on Tuesday morning 22nd July, going to the Church of Ireland, Killybegs, (F94 HE27) for funeral service at 12 noon, with cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium Cavan.

The death has occurred of George McHugh, Cranny Lower, Inver, (F94 K2W5) peacefully after a long illness, surrounded by his loving family in Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny.

Predeceased by his parents George & Kathleen and his brother Thomas.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Bried, Sons & Daughters-in-law, Rory (Maria), Aidan, Damien (Stephanie), grandchildren; Danny, Sam and Finn. His sisters Elizabeth and Rose.

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his wife, sons, daughters-in-laws, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, brothers in law, sisters in law, extended family and many friends.

Requiem mass on Sunday 20th July at 1pm in St. Nauls Church Ardaghey, with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Irene Rintoul, Donegal Town, formerly of Wicklow and Dublin.

Beloved wife to her late husband Greg, loving mother to Jamie (Nikola) and Jenny (Anthony), adoring grandmother to Max, Bonnie, Sam and Isla.

Predeceased by her parents James and Sarah, deeply missed by her siblings Sandra, Jimmy, Ken, Eric, Christine, all her extended family and a wide circle of friends and neighbours.

Irene’s kind nature touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Thoughtful, generous, and endlessy caring, she gave her time and love freely to all around her.

The sudden, peaceful death has taken place at the home of Hugh Kennedy, Old Road Mountcharles, Co. Donegal (formerly of Drimareany, Dunkineely).

Deeply regretted by his loving wife May, daughters Christina (RIP), Anita (Tommy), Caroline (Christy), Stephanie (Edward) and Alison (Cliff).
Sadly, missed by grandchildren Danielle, Emma, Aaron, Lewis, Rhianna and Christopher, great- grandchildren, extended family, friends and neighbours.

His remains will repose at his home in Old Road, Mountcharles (F94 E8W2) on Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th of June from 2 pm to 9 pm.
Rosery each night at 9 pm.

Removal on Friday, 13th of June to The Church of St Joseph and St Conal, Bruckless for Requiem mass at 11 am, with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

A one way system will be in operation at the wake, enter via Mc Monagle Stone and exit at Mountcharles village.

The peaceful death has occurred of Denis McGuire, Birmingham and formerly of Turrishill, Mountcharles.

Predeceased by his wife Ann, his son Michael, his parents Mary and Denis, and his sister Annette.

He will be sadly missed by his son Patrick (Lisa), daughters Mary (Ben), Caroline, Pamela (Andy), Donna (Martin), his brothers and sisters, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

The peaceful death has occurred of Danny Kelliher, Birmingham. Danny is predeceased by his wife Eileen (nee Meehan, Doorin Point, Mountcharles). Sadly missed by the extended Kelliher family and Meehan families in Meenacally and Mountcharles. Lovingly missed by his friend Nancy and the Cardall family.

May he rest in peace.

His remains will be reposing at Gallaghers Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles (F94 X02N) on Friday 16th May from 5pm until 8pm. Removal from there on Saturday 17th May at 3.30pm, going to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Mountcharles (F94 N234) for funeral mass at 4pm, followed by interment in the adjoining churchyard.
