I need to take the air outta Bella's tryes to ground myself. 🙈😆

A weekend of pottering about my own wee nest, catching up on boring essentials like washing and housework actually felt good

Living in Inishowen means staying local is swimming in Culdaff one day and Leenan the next. 🌊🩵

Also, being logged off. ❤️
4 hours screentime in 3 days feels sooo good. Try it if ye can.

Bella n me are both well rested n ready to set sail again this week. Guess where?
Clue; near water, but not the sea.
So, that narrows it down then.

So many reasons to attend this event tomorrow, especially if you're an Inishowenian

📖 a novel set in Derry and Inishowen
💚 Dunree is a gorgeous location, worth visiting for any reason, perfect for a wee walk first
📵 Books for teenagers / young adults are a healthy antidote to excessive phone use, so worth supporting
📚 Book launches are interesting and inspiring, and a great way to connect with the writing community
❤️ Award winning author Sue Divin is a brilliant, hardworking writer and sound human being who has done a wile lot to support fledgling writers, like me
🍬I have it on good authority that there will be sweets, not just sweets but freddo frogs, werthers, beef monster munch and Jammie Dodgers. Aaand
the cafes open
😊 Aaaand. .... it's free!

a 7hrs / 13km (14km of them up hill 🥵) hike
sweaty n wet in the hills

a night with a few beers n great company round a campfire 🔥
