Thank you TG4 and ANIAR for the beautiful production of sharing my story. By sharing I hope to inspire others to consider being a surrogate or give hope to those that might require to use of Surrogacy to have a family.

Sharing these stories are so important - Our Government needs to make these important changes in our legislation for our Irish couples

Two radio shows from this afternoon:

Ranae and Gearoid of Equality for Children talk about the challenges their two families still face and the continuing problems faced by families with same-sex parents, on Newstalk's Lunchtime Live;

While over on the Ray D'Arcy Show on RTÉ Radio 1, dads Brendan and Gavin talk about their experience of surrogacy, and how their two kids have no legal status in Ireland and no Irish documentation.

Thank you Ranae, Gearoid, Brendan and Gavin for sharing your families' stories ❤️

Happy New Year. I have been quiet on my social media, but have been helping alot of couples on their Surrogacy Journeys. Covid has definitely affected Surrogacy Journeys, but agencies, clinics, countries have adapted. I am in the early stages of planning some online seminars for Surrogacy, I will also be hosting some online support groups for couples going through Surrogacy. As well as supporting Surrogacy Journeys I am actively lobbying for new legislation in Ireland - 2020 I had many a positive meeting with our Minister's and enjoyed working with Senator Mary Seery Kearney, Equality for Children and the AHR Coalition. I will be more active on my social media and look forward to supporting all through their Surrogacy Journeys ❤️

For Elaine Murphy, the journey to motherhood took 20 long years - with 26 IVFs, miscarriages and ectopic pregnancies in between. In the end, the generosity of her friend Laura Sutton in acting as a surrogate mum means that this Christmas will be spent with her daughter Iris. The two friends (pictured) tell Emily Hourican their story in today's People & Culture with the Sunday Independent. Photo: Steve Humphreys

Good afternoon - I am trying to create a list of clinics abroad that Irish couples have used and been happy with, equally trying to take note of those that have not reached the standards that we would accept.
Would love to hear your stories, so more can benefit who are only starting in their journey. ❤️

Surrogacy Ireland - Event Success.
Thank you to each and everyone of who you attended my event in February. My view from the stage was that of a beautiful selection of people who wish to be parents. I hope you all enjoyed the afternoon as much as I did and walked away with more information, a huge thank you to Dr.John Kennedy from SIMS IVF and Annette Hickey Poe Kiely Hogan Lanigan LLP for speaking. Thank you to Helen for attending from NISIG - National Infertility Support and Information Group. We are working on some exciting projects - a few events will be announced soon and I am delighted to continue to work with Annette as we continue to provide support for all with regards to surrogacy.
