Rest and Release is a 3 part series of Restorative Yoga Practices designed to help you ease into the slower, grounding rhythms of winter. This Series focuses on deep relaxation, gentle stretching, and intentional breathwork to release any lingering tension or restlessness.
You'll be guided through a series of supported, long-held poses to calm the nervous system, with an emphasis on surrendering and letting go. As you move into the restorative postures, such as supported twists, backbends and gentle forward folds, you'll be encouraged to transition slowly, and mindfully, paying attention to what your body needs and finds comfortable.
Props like bolsters and blankets will help you sink deeper into each pose, allowing the body to fully release. The class closes with a meditation to embrace the change in seasons, focusing on themes of balance, transition, and renewal. Itβs a time to reconnect with yourself and prepare for the cooler, quieter months ahead.
