✨️ Farm Safety Week ✨️

Ireland experienced a record low in workplace fatalities in 2024, with 33 work-related deaths (30 male / 3 female)

Farming accounted for 12 fatalities, representing over a third of all workplace deaths in Ireland.

Three of these farm related deaths were as a result of an animal, two confirmed to be bulls.

Leading causes of work-related fatalities in general (including farming) were vehicle-related incidents, incidents involving heavy/falling objects, and falling from height, accounting for 64% of all fatalities.

Stroke destroys two million brain cells every minute. If you suspect that someone is having a stroke, call 112 or 999 immediately.

Effective stroke treatment is hugely time-dependent. The faster you act, the more of the person you can save.

🔥 Fire Warden Training 🔥
This course will provide you with the knowledge and training in fire safety as required by the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and the Fire Services Act 1981.
At the end of this course, you will know your duties as a fire warden and the actions to be followed during a fire or an emergency. This course will also provide you with the skills to recognise the importance of fire prevention and how to implement a fire prevention ethos within the workplace.
