What a refreshing weekend spent recapping & reflecting on the Polyvagal Theory - The Neuro Physiological Framework that explains how the body's Autonomic Nervous System responds to perceived threats and safety. As a Holistic Truama Informed Psychotherapist I use this aplication in my therapy work supporting clients wellbeing and social behaviours. This involves suporting trauma responses, anxiety, and other mental health concerns, building an understanding of the nervous system and a space for co-regulation and safety 💖
