I have been practicing yoga since I was studying for my leaving cert. I read somewhere that tree pose helped concentration. I would stand in tree taking s break from the books 😆. Over the years I have moved from focusing on powerful vinyasa flows to now enjoying a more restorative practice. I started my training with last September and the embodied style of practicing yoga has really landed with me. Embodied yoga is about instilling confidence in people to listen to and trust their own body. To take the prop, to find the extra 5 or 10% more comfort. Especially having worked so much on a 1:1 with people basis as a physiotherapist i know that every body is individual and that rarely are 2 the same. I am very excited to see where this journey will take me.
