Our Story

Hello and welcome! My name is Siobhan Melia and I’m the owner here at North Kildare Homeopathy. I’m a mum of 3 lads aged 14, 18 and 20. Hubs is also self employed and is a gas and electrical contractor amongst the many strings to his bow. I have been using homeopathy for 20 years now and qualified to practice in 2012.

I love live music, go to as many gigs as I can and meet up with like minded pals. We have the best laughs and I’ve met some of my dearest friends through music. I’m an avid reader when I find the time and I also crochet, making shawls, wraps, hats and scarves to name but a few things. I adore dogs and we’ve just recently rescued a lurcher pup and named her Luna Lovegood (Yes we ARE all big Harry Potter fans) We are huge movie goers in our house and love all things science fiction. I try to live well but don’t always succeed (I’m only human after all) and Friday night is usually date night with hubs which means a nice dinner and a couple of vinos or Gins....I love gin :)

I’ve recently become involved with the Home prescribers academy which is an online course put together by Antoinette McWeeney and Rita Kara Robinson who are two hugely experienced homeopaths, to support those who want to learn how to use Homeopathy on a day to day basis to treat fevers, colds, coughs, headaches, period pain, earaches, sprains and strains and other minor ailments that you would use over the counter meds for or indeed go to your doctor for. www.homeprescribersacademy.com
