The Mulligan Technique for the shoulder (Mobilization with Movement - MWM) is a manual therapy that combines a sustained, pain-free joint glide (often posterior-lateral) applied by a therapist with active patient movement, such as flexion or abduction.
It aims to correct positional faults, instantly reducing pain and improving range of motion (ROM) in conditions like adhesive capsulitis.

Patient is a Volleyball player and Swimming instructor Thus Shoulder Pain.

Meet Patrick Monahan

Ireland's top wheelchair marathon racer and two-time Paralympian. He competed in Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020.

Paralympic Career Results: Represented Team Ireland in the marathon at two consecutive Paralympic Games. Tokyo 2020: Finished 12th with a time of 1:32:54, a four-place improvement. Rio 2016: Finished 16th despite being bedridden before the race.

Major Career Achievements: A multiple-time champion at the Dublin City Marathon, winning five times. He retained his title at the Seville Marathon in 2023 with a time of 1:33:14. Monahan also holds silver medals at the Duluth Marathon and Lisbon Half Marathon. He set a new Irish record in 2019 with a time of 1:22:00. This year, he's preparing for Boston and New York.
