One of the more nastier bugs to catch....you really have to pick the restaurant and menu item with care when travelling....generally go for safer dishes and only be adventurous when you are confident that the product is fresh and competently cooked....

So many places are even today still not being as vigilant as the law states regarding their allergen awareness, training and policies...buffets, self service and deli counters are still a weak link...a needless loss of a young life...

Its amazing that these places with all their security for humans cannot secure the food you might consume...the airport safety budgets do not extend to preventing you getting poisoned it would seem in France anyway..travel in enough trouble as it is...a sorry tail....
