REMINDER - Navan Civil Defence are providing First Aid & Defibrillator Training Park this Saturday 6th Sept @10.30am. We would encourage as many as possible to attend this free event to help build confidence in the use of defibrillators and also offer some broader first aid skills.
🩺 This training could one day help save a life.

Well where do we start with this post?
We had something very special to celebrate this morning. As you know, parkrun would not happen without volunteers, and we are delighted to say that Gerry Fox has been awarded the July Vhi parkrun Hero award to acknowledge all that he does for Navan parkrun.

Gerry makes such a huge contribution to our parkrun family & we are so lucky to have him.

“Our very own Vhi parkrun Hero!” Gerry is proof that you don’t need to run 5k to be a parkrun hero… but you do need the patience to deal with all of us who do.
Well done Gerry we are super proud of you and delighted that all that you do for Navan parkrun has been acknowledged in this way.
