Go raibh maith agaibh go léir! What a fantastic morning we had at Navan parkrun today! 🌳🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
It was a very special morning as we held our event as Gaeilge! A massive thank you to Eimear (Gaeilge Bheo) for her wonderful help in bringing the Irish language to life along our course today. Is fearr Gaeilge bhriste ná Béarla cliste!
🎂 Birthday Celebrations
We had some extra candles to blow out this morning! A huge Happy Birthday to:
Daniella Bennett, one of our amazing volunteers.
Peter Curran, celebrating his milestone 75th Birthday!
🏆 Milestones & Results
This week, 136 people ran, jogged, and walked the course. A warm welcome to our 21 first-timers, and a huge round of applause for the 18 participants who recorded new Personal Bests! We also hosted representatives from 15 different clubs.

Beidh parkrun na hUaimhe á reáchtáil trí Ghaeilge an deireadh seachtaine seo. Beidh aoi-chainteoir linn chun cabhrú le gach duine agus chun tús bríomhar a chur le himeachtaí Lá Fhéile Pádraig.

This weekend Navan parkrun will be hosted in Irish. We'll have a guest speaker along to help everyone and kick St Patrick's Day off in style

Comh-thionscnamh is ea parkrunabú idir An tOireachtas & parkrun in Éirinn. Ócáid
ghréasánaíochta atá ann do Ghaeilgeoirí, a bhfuil spéis acu a bheith ag siúil nó ag rith,
aithne a chur ar Ghaeilgeoirí eile sa cheantar agus a gcuid Gaeilge a chleachtadh agus a chur chun cinn chomh maith le cairde nua a dhéanamh!

Parkrunabú! is a joint initiative between An tOireachtas and parkrun Ireland. They are
networking events for Irish speakers, who are interested in walking or running, to get to know other Irish speakers in their locality. It gives them the opportunity to practice their cúpla focal, promote the language in the area as well as making new friends along the way!

A massive thank you to the 104 people who joined us this morning. It was a great atmosphere out there!

We had a bit of an unfortunate delay with the results processing today due to a few technical gremlins. I’ve been working hard behind the scenes to get everything lined up and sorted, and I’m happy to say they are now processed.

Because of the issues we faced, some of the times might be slightly off. I’ve done my absolute best to make them as accurate as possible, but please accept my apologies if your time is a few seconds out from your own watch.
