The death has occurred of Breda Tierney nee Nolan (Ballyscanlon, Coolbawn, Nenagh, Co Tipperary) peacefully at home on 24th of April 2026.

Predeceased by her brothers Billy and John Nolan, parents Wilsie and Judy.

Deeply regretted by her loving husband Finbarr, sons Damian, Owen and daughter Avril, son in law, daughters in law, adored grandchildren Donnacha, Dearbhlá, Matthew, Noah, Fredson and Connor, brother Martin, sisters Ann, Mary and Margaret, brothers in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

Reposing in Keller's Funeral Home, Nenagh (E45XO94) on Monday evening 27th April from 5-7pm. Funeral arriving to Kilbarron Church (E45 D458)on Tuesday morning 28th April at 9:45am for funeral mass at 10am. Followed by cremation service at Shannon Crematorium at 1pm. (V14PV30).


Family flowers only, donations if desired to Milford Care Centre.

The family would like to thank the nurses, carers and friends who shown great care to Breda and her family.

The death has occurred of Sarah (Ciss) Carroll, nee Kennedy (Coolbawn, Nenagh and formerly of Garranmore, Newtown) on the 23rd of April 2026.


Predeceased by her loving husband Michael, brother Jimmy, sister Dolly (O'Connor) and daughter in law Margaret (Mounsey).


Deeply regretted by her loving daughters Mary Ellen (Twigge), Deirdre and Georgina (Moran), son Brendan, sons in law Philip and Paul, sister Eileen (Power), grandchildren Gemma, Ivan, Sarah, Olivia, Michael, Jane, Jessica and Ryan and partners, great grandchildren Miya, Mollie, Jake, Caiden, Isabel, Iarlaith, Robert, George, Charlie, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of Nenagh Hospital and Nenagh Manor Nursing Home for the exceptional care shown to Sarah and her family.

The death has occurred of Teresa (Teasie) Hodgins (née O’Mahony), Dublin Road, Nenagh, and formerly of Cloughjordan, Co. Tipperary, who passed away peacefully on 13th April 2026, in the wonderful care of Nenagh Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Andrew, her parents Jeremiah and Alice, her brothers John Joe, Willie and Pat, and her sisters Margaret, Kate, Julia and Mary.

Teresa will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Cathríona and her son Aindréas, her sister Bridget O’Connor (Canada), her adored grandchildren Cian, Conor, Alice and Emily, daughter-in-law Elaine Cullinan, son-in-law David Farrell, nephews, nieces, relatives, great neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Keller’s Funeral Home, Nenagh (Eircode E45 XO94), on Wednesday, 15th April, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm.

Funeral arriving to St. Mary’s of the Rosary Church, Nenagh (Eircode E45 YH29), on Thursday morning, 16th April, at 10.45am for Funeral Mass at 11.00am, followed by burial in Ballinaclough Cemetery.

The death has occurred of James (Jimmy) Slattery (Ballyanny, Nenagh Co Tipperary, late of Agritech and life time president of Kildangan GAA Club) on April 1st 2026.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Mary, sister Margaret (O'Brien) , brothers Billy, Bishop Hugh, son in law Adrian King (New Zealand) and his granddaughter Martha.

Sadly missed by his loving sons Eoin, Seamus and Brian, daughter Sinéad, sister Sr. Clare (Sheila), daughters in law Kathleen, Gretta, Avril, grandchildren Oisín, Sorcha, Elise, Éala, Rían, Lauren, Eimear, Briana, Dara, Hannah, Aoibhínn, Alexander, Alannah, Selena, Avril's daughter Aila and great grandchildren Donnacha and Elle, nephews, nieces, relatives, work colleagues and many friends.
