Huge congratulations to our colleagues in the Irish Red Cross Nenagh Branch on being shortlisted for their Branch Award. They are a great team and we know exactly the commitment you give to the community here in Nenagh and further a field. We have two common goals- to equip members of our community with life saving skills and to help out where we can and wherever we are needed. Best of luck to Owen, Uta, Aiden and the rest of the team in the finals.

We would like to send a sincere thanks to Nenagh Chamber who made a very generous donation to our ambulance fundraiser this morning. Three of our long standing members, David King, John Sherlock (not pictured) and Michael Fitzsimons were very happy to accept this donation from William Talbot from Sherry FitzGerald Talbot.

The support from the Nenagh Community has been amazing and although we have a good bit to go yet, we know that you will help us get there.

This next ambulance will be very much a community funded ambulance as all funds this far have come from local individuals, groups, clubs, schools and businesses- we will have received no other help. It's something our community should be very proud of.

Any donation made to us for the ambulance fund will be acknowledged on a commemorative plaque.

We will have an update for the community soon on our progress.

A massive thanks to St. Joseph's CBS Nenagh who hosted a fancy dress fundraiser for us today. You were all so creative with your costumes- it must have been incredibly difficult to choose the winner!

We promise that when our ambulance is bought, we will pay a visit to your school to show you exactly how you have helped us and your community 🙏

We will be very proud to add your school's name to our commemorative plaque.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you 🙏

Our Units have a strong history of working together along with Order Of Malta Ireland - Ambulance Corps - Shannon to get this event covered safely. Well done everyone!
