We are very saddened to hear of the passing of Pierce Murphy of the Order of Malta Ireland - Ambulance Corps - Thurles Unit. Our thoughts are with all of the Murphy family and our colleagues in Thurles at this very difficult time. May Pierce rest in peace in the arms of the angels.

To have the Brian Hogan Nenagh Celtic Supporters Club come together and raise this money on our behalf has really moved us.

Con, John and Robbie and the fantastic group of lads so kindly said to us tonight- the work that the Order of Malta Ireland -Ambulance Corps- Nenagh does really matters, and the community sees that.

We can honestly say, we have never felt more seen and supported by our community, especially in the last 12 months.

We also want to extend a sincere thank you to Nenagh Ormond RFC for hosting the Brian Hogan Nenagh Celtic Supporters Blitz.

We will review the fundraiser update in January but right now, we must begin to write our letter to Santa Claus with a wish for a set of keys sometime in the New Year.

Two groups who have supported us on numerous occasions throughout the last few months of the Ambulance Fundraiser are Nenagh Éire Óg and the Nenagh Lions Club. Tonight we were presented with a cheque from the recent Walkathon fundraiser with the Lions Club donating their share to us as their nominated charity.

All we can say is that we have a lot to pay forward in the future. We are indebted to ALL who have contributed in any way to our cause.

Busy day yesterday at the Hunter Trials in Nenagh. Full team of John Sherlock Eileen Finn David King Mike Fitz and Steve Moughan were out. It was a mucky day but a great day. The same team followed on afterwards and covered the Nenagh Ormond RFC Rugby match.

After a hectic week of fundraising and duties, we want to say a very special thanks to all who have contributed to our Ambulance Fund by hosting fundraisers so far for us, with our most recent ones being the Bucket Collection at the Come Dine Me experience with Séamie Morris in the The Hibernian Inn (The Hib) (a massive thanks to all who contributed that night), the Capparoe Women's Shed raffle and the Brian Hogan Nenagh Celtic Supporters Club with their Blitz. We will be making another update on our funding in the coming week.
