For the longest time I confused wholeness with perfection. I thought if I could just get it “right” aka people-please, overachieve, push harder, then I’d finally be loved and accepted. But that’s not wholeness.
Carl Jung called wholeness individuation, the journey of becoming who we were created to be. Healing is not a finish line - but a lifelong journey. Every step toward authenticity is a step toward wholeness.
That’s why I love the art of kintsugi where pottery is repaired with gold. The cracks don’t lessen its value, instead they make it unique and beautiful. Just like us.
Take your first step toward wholeness. Step into who you were always meant to be. 💙

Grief Casts a Long Shadow
Grief isn’t only about death.
It can stem from the loss of a relationship, a pet, a dream or a sense of identity - anything that has significant meaning to you.
Sadly, we live in a grief-illiterate world that expects grieving to follow a timeline.
“How long will this last?”
“When are you going to get over it?”
But grief doesn’t work like that because when something significant is lost, there is no “getting over it.”
There is only learning how to carry it and how to live alongside it. And this takes as long as it takes. Each person's grieving process is unique.
Your grief is valid, and there is no finish line you have to reach.

Things won’t change unless the pain of remaining the same exceeds the pain of change…
It's never too late to end a toxic relationship and make a positive change in your life. This applies to both personal and professional relationships.
It's important to recognize when a relationship has run its course because staying can cause you to feel drained, insecure, and anxious. It can damage your self-esteem and make you feel trapped. If you constantly feel criticized, belittled, or controlled, it’s time to move on!

💞💕 Happy Self-Care Sunday, everyone! 💞💕
Self-care is essential for maintaining a healthy mind and body. Here are 5 really basic but powerful tips to help you take care of yourself this week:
1️⃣ Get enough sleep 💤
Getting enough rest is crucial for your overall well-being.
Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep per night to feel refreshed and energized.
I find going to bed early is easier than waking up earlier...but that's just me...
2️⃣ Move your body 🏃♀️
Physical activity releases endorphins, which can boost your mood and reduce stress.
Find a form of exercise you enjoy, whether going for a walk, doing pilates, or dancing around your living room.
I've recently started weights at the gym and feel more energised and productive because of it! 💪
3️⃣ Practice gratitude 🙏
Be mindful and take the time to appreciate the good things in your life.
This can help shift your focus away from unhelpful negative thoughts.
Try writing down three things you're thankful for each day.
4️⃣ Set boundaries 🚫
It's important to know your limits and communicate them to others.
Saying "no" to things that don't serve you is a form of self-care.
5️⃣ Connect with others 🤝
Social support and interaction is key to good mental health.
Reach out to a friend or loved one this week and make plans to catch up.
Remember, caring for yourself isn't selfish – it's necessary for a happy and healthy life! 🌟

Do you struggle with setting boundaries? 😬
Here are a few basic things to bear in mind the next time you need a great boundary:
🌼 First, ensure your boundaries are clear and based on YOUR needs. They're there to protect YOU.
🌼 State them objectively, without demanding, blaming, controlling, or shaming anyone.
🌼 Don't make your boundaries punitive, i.e. don't set out to punish or trip anyone up.
🌼 ALWAYS ensure that the consequences for overstepping your boundaries are within YOUR control.
🌼 Give space for the other person's response while holding your limit.
🌼 Make sure your boundaries are authentic, i.e. aligned with YOUR thoughts and feelings.
🌼 And last but not least, be kind to yourself when setting and enforcing boundaries.
It's not always easy, but it's crucial for your well-being. 🤗

Eighteen thousand two hundred and sixty three days on Earth and I’m feeling sentimentally emotional….
I’m so grateful for the beautiful life I have.
So grateful for my family, friends, career and purpose.
So very grateful to God for restoration and for blessing me the way He has.

I don’t believe in grandiose goals.
Yeah, I’m a life coach and I just said that 😂🙈
Instead I’m a huge proponent for setting a desired direction and then forming small easy habits that keep you moving in the right direction.
I’m starting gym in April 😅 and I was drawn to a large sign on the wall (in fact it’s the reason I chose to join that specific gym)….”consistency beats intensity”

In 2013, my life was literally falling apart. A vicious cycle of rejection, inferiority and approval addiction, left me with severe anxiety and depression. I was unfulfilled in my career and in my second marriage. I constantly doubted my ability to parent my two sons from my first marriage...Enter life coaching!
Through the radical transformational power of life coaching, and lots of hard work, I went on a journey of self-discovery.
A new awareness and acceptance of who I truly am showed me my purpose and calling in life. It revealed my strengths and corrected the many lies I used to believe about myself and my perception of the world. I started making decisions based on my values, and started living a truly authentic life. My thoughts, words and actions became aligned.
Today, my marriage and family life is back on track, in fact, I’d go so far as to say, thriving. (Despite moving from Cape Town to Ireland in 2018.)
I left the IT industry after 20 years and I’ve subsequently qualified as an Erickson Certified Professional Life Coach. I am an ACC (Associate Certified Coach), accredited by the ICF (International Coaching Federation). I am also an accredited Enneagram practitioner.
I’m living my dream and helping women every day to get themselves out of the deep holes they find themselves in.
My passion lies in facilitating you to unlock & realise who you truly are and what makes you unique.
Partnering with you, so you truly know, love and accept yourself.
Personal experience has shown me, that when you make decisions and take actions based on your values, things start falling into place as you start fulfilling your purpose.
