🥶 when the cold snap hits we are reminded of the beauty around us ❤️ it’s as cold as you want it to be.
Our bodies are like radiators and can heat up when we put our minds to it. I’m not sure I will be jumping into an ice bath like the iceman aka Wim Hof, however the cold has many benefits like:
🥶 improves focus and sleep
🥶 speeds up metabolism
🥶 boosts your brain activity
🥶 some say the air is cleaner as there is less pollution. When temps drop, layers of the atmosphere are more likely to mix making the air cleaner and for some easier to breathe 🧘
🥶 reduces inflammation, swelling and sore muscles
So I will embrace it and enjoy it. Experience deep belly breathing by taking a deep breath 😮💨 in through your nose, fill your belly up like a balloon and exhale. Try this a few times while out enjoying and moving in this beautiful weather 🌦️ and see how you feel ❤️🤗
