NCW TOWN ARTS & CULTURE PUBLIC NOTICE

Calling All Artists and Culture Lovers

Are you a visual, writing, performing artist - professional or amateur? Or an arts and culture lover? If so, we want to hear from you.

Under the auspices of Limerick City and Council, Newcastle West Town Team has been established to revitalise the town by bringing together the local authority, businesses, community groups and residents in a bottoms up approach to addressing the economic, social and environmental challenges facing the town.

Within the Town Team there is an Arts and Culture Subgroup dedicated to supporting these activities and practitioners.

No doubt you have ideas how the arts and culture can be promoted and supported with workspaces, performing spaces and gathering places. We're even interested in how public art can enhance the look of the town,

So we want to hear your thoughts and ideas at a meeting on Wednesday, March 18th at 7.30 pm in the Red Door Gallery.

In turn the ideas will be put forward to the Town Team Executive and then to the Local Authority. We will also be researching funding sources for prospective projects.

This is a great opportunity for your voice to be heard. We look forward to meeting you on the 18th.
