KILMEEDY ICE BATH CHALLENGE 16TH APRIL

How hot-blooded are you? Are you brave enough to dip your toes (and so much more!) into the icy waters of Kilmeedy? And how about raising some funds while you’re chillin’ to help Kilmeedy Development Group (the same people who brought you Roots, Full Moon Rising and other mega events) with its plans for the newly acquired 7-acre site.
You may have spotted our large site plan outside Roots with our ideas for some rather cool social and recreational projects to benefit Kilmeedy and the wider community. (We’ll be asking you, the community, for your suggestions too, when we’ve warmed up from the Challenge!).
We’re now looking for volunteers to take part in The Kilmeedy Ice Bath Challenge on 16 April, at the Full Moon Rising site (and no, no mooning is allowed here please!).
So, if you see yourself as a budding ice queen or ice man (with the chance to win some cool prizes) register your interest by shooting us a DM and we’ll give you the lowdown.

So nice to be back playing tennis this morning with our children. Thank you to all the volunteers who cleaned up the courts this week, the place is looking great. Looking forward to getting a bit better at tennis this summer !!
